Inspired by Oprah’s Favourite Things List, I’ve created a travel inspired list of my must have items. These are items I love, that I use regularly and recommend to everyone. They are great gifts to give people any time of year or to get for yourself since you’ll find them so useful.
I am very particular with which products I choose to purchase. It’s important to me to make my choices eco friendly, chemical free, and cruelty free.
None of these products are sponsored, just items that I genuinely love and use often. And products that I believe you’ll find useful and love too.
Mostly travel related items will be on this list but will range everywhere from my favourite travel accessories, camera equipment, health & beauty products. And with that let’s get into Michelle’s Favourite Things List 2019.
There are certain Items that I just cannot travel without. They are all basic items but necessary for a successful and comfortable trip.
While I don’t consider myself a professional photographer by any means, this some of my ride or die camera equipment. I’ve gone through a lot of cameras to find the ones that I truly love and I bring these all with me anytime I travel.

These are some of my favourite fashion essentials when it comes to travel. The clothes and accessories I use need to be cute yet comfortable and functional.
Staying healthy is often a challenge and can be even more difficult when you’re out of a routine during travel. These items are total lifesavers to staying healthy all year round whether you’re at home or living life on the road. Add these products into your daily routine to make a huge difference.
I have a minimalist approach when it comes to beauty products. I prefer to use products that are chemical free and eco friendly. What we put on our skin directly impacts our health so I limit any unnecessary chemical exposure.
Being as eco friendly as possible is extremely important to me. With any purchase I make I ensure that it’s sustainable and ethically made. There are lots of simple switches that can save a lot of unnecessary waste ending up into landfills or even worse, our oceans. These products may even save you money in the long run.
Side note: I’ve added a Soda Stream onto this list. It’s obviously not a travel item but it’s a purchase I made this year which has saved possibly hundreds of plastic bottles being tossed out. I highly recommend investing in one and it will certainly save you money in the long run. (Not sponsored, I just genuinely love it!)
Here’s some fun but very useful items that I adore and love to travel with.
One of my resolutions at the start of this year was to read daily. It’s been years since I’ve read any books and have loved adding this habit into my daily routine. These are some of the book’s I’ve read this year that I absolutely loved and recommend you add to your reading list.
+ Total Recall by Arnold Schwarzenegger
+ Tools of Titans by Tim Ferris
+ The Subtle Art of Not Giving a F*ck by Mark Manson
+ Own the Day by Aubrey Marcus
