When it comes to beautiful hotels in Bali you are absolutely spoiled for choice. Bali has quickly become an Instagrammers dream location. There are an abundance of picturesque hotels spread across Bali and ones that suit every budget. The hotel types vary from your typical hotel, to private villas, to luxurious bungalows. Some of these hotels are one’s that I’ve travelled to, and others are ones that I have my sights set on for future trips. No matter what part of Bali you are travelling to or what your budget is, you’ll find a hotel that you’ll absolutely adore. Here is my list of Bali’s most beautiful hotels.
HIGH END HOTELS
The high end hotels are definitely a splurge, something that you might want to save for a special occasion or just to treat yourself. These hotels come with a higher price tag, but are so stunning that you’ll instantly fall in love. These are all in the range of $300+ (AUD) per night.
CAMAYA BALI – Located over rice fields and far away from the hustle and bustle, Camaya Bali is an absolute dream hotel. Camaya features breath-taking view of Mount Agung that you can see from a hammock overhanging the rice fields. Each of the villas are uniquely designed made of bamboo. If you are wanting to stay here don’t wait to book Camaya Bali as it is well known and almost fully booked a year in advance. It’s only available on Airbnb, so if you would like to save $55 on your next booking don’t forget to use my link!
OWN VILLA – Located close to the very popular Canggu area, Own Villa is like a private little retreat. Tucked away off the main street, Own Villa opens up into a luxurious and peaceful sanctuary. With a very limited number of guests you’ll be able to relax and enjoy the beautiful surrounds. Complete with a full sized pool, you can enjoy a floating breakfast or chill on the deck chairs in the sun. Due to a limited number of guests, I suggest booking this place early if you’d like to stay here.
THE EDGE BALI – As the name of this hotel implies, The Edge Bali is situated right on the edge of a cliff. The Edge Bali features a very famous glass bottomed pool that hangs over the cliff edge. I have not had a chance to stay here due to it being ‘slightly’ out of my budget. You’ll be paying quite the paycheck for this hotel but it truly looks like a once in a lifetime experience.
AYANA RESORT AND SPA – Ayana Resort & Spa is well know because of one of it’s very unique pools. Ayana is located in Jimbaran Bay directly overlooking the ocean. This hotel features multiple pools and direct access to a pristine private beach. Ayana is also famous for Rock Bar, a cocktalil bar/ restaurant hanging over the ocean ideal for sunset. If staying at Ayana Resort is out of your budget, Rock Bar is open to the public so you can enjoy a cocktail with an awe-inspiring sunset view.

MID RANGE HOTELS
Suitable for most travellers, even if just for a couple of nights, the mid range hotels exceed expectations for a reasonable price. All these mid range budget hotels are in the range of $100 – $300 per night (AUD).
LA JOYA BIU BIU – For a mid range hotel, La Joya Biu Biu absolutely exceeded my expectations. This hotel features 2 infinity pools (the photo at the beginning of this post is the other one) and picture-perfect round spa. Located on the cliffs of Uluwatu you get the best view of the sunset. The rooms are spacious and breakfast is included – winning! La Joya Biu Biu is a perfect place if you want to relax in the serenity of the beautiful landscapes of Bali.
MUNDUK MONDING PLANTATION – Best known for it’s incredible infinity pool over the lush landscapes in central Bali, Munduk Monding Plantation is such an enchanting hotel. This hotel has a serene atmosphere being located amongst a coffee plantation and surrounded by a lush forest. I haven’t had a chance to stay at this hotel yet due to limited time on my recent trip to Bali, but it’s on my ‘must see’ list next time I travel there.
PATAL KIKIAN VILLA – With the most picturesque views, Patal Kikian Villa is a dream hotel. Patal Kikian has an incredible infinity pool right in front of Mount Agung. It’s a perfect hotel to escape the touristy part of Bali and really immerse yourself in serenity and relaxation.

BUDGET FRIENDLY HOTELS
One of the things that I adore about Bali is that you can have such a wonderful experience no matter what your budget is. Bali hotel prices can range from thousands of dollars per night down to tens of dollars per night. Even if you have a limited budget, rest assured there are many incredible hotels to be found to suit you.
LE PIRATE NUSA CENINIGAN – Le Pirate is an adorable hotel located sea side on the island of Nusa Ceninigan. This hotel features a row of tiny bungalows with a little infinity pool perfect for cooling off or enjoying a cocktail. It comes complete with an onsite restaurant and bar giving you everything you need. If this is a place you are interested in staying be warned that the rooms are very small. However, Le Pirate is a perfect place to relax in the hammocks attached to each room.
BATAN SABO – With a photogenic A-frame shape, Batan Sabo is a beautiful cottage located on the fabulous island Nusa Penida. The rooms are beautiful, there is an amazing infinity pool overlooking the forest, and brekky is included. Keep in mind, Batan Sabo is very popular and has limited availability which caused me to miss out on staying here so be sure to book well in advance.
THE APARTMENTS UMALAS – Find a little piece of Santorini in The Apartments Umulas. Here you’ll find pristine bright white huts with spacious rooms will all amenities you look for at a hotel. The Apartments Umulas have a beautuiful outdoor pool surrounded by a picturesque garden. Located in the popular Canggu area, you’ll be close to the beach and plenty of bars and restaurants.
I hope you found some value in my list of most beautiful hotels to stay in Bali. Have you travelled to Bali before. Let me know in the comments what hotels you would add to this list. Happy travels!
